Ottimo Gas Pizza Oven any good?

Main Post:

Has anyone had any experience with one of these? Marked down to 170 at tesco, seems fairly close to an Ooni, curious if somebody knows if the performance is any good?

950f (510c), 70 seconds, Pizza Party gas oven. Goodbye regular 500f pizza. Folding one of these tender yet crispy pies up and just chowing down is an experience. Love the oven. This is my second time using it.

Tested out the $200 pizza oven from Sam's Club. Here's my first pizzas. Doesn't get quite hot enough, but pizza is pizza.

Top Comment: Honestly for $200 it could be worth it to someone who's not that big into homemade pizza but want to enjoy cooking it outside every now and then, without expecting greatness. But the flame is just so weak. I know all oven manufacturers inflate their preheat times, but the box claiming 900F in 15 minutes is a joke. It maxed out around 765F. I'm not sure if I can link Youtube here (you can probably find it by searching google for member's mark pizza oven review), but I do a full breakdown of the oven and how the preheat compares to other ovens. If it just had a slightly more powerful burner this could have been a really solid little oven.

Casey GS /Casey Pizza

Main Post:

So I’m originally from Iowa, my hometown had 6 Casey’s Gas Stations in a town of 10,000. Why are there not more Casey’s around Minnesota especially in the southern part? Luckily I have a Casey’s only 10mins from me. But this honestly breaks my heart

Top Comment: Because you’re in Kwik Trip land now.

Fastrac Pizza

Main Post:

I’ve heard that the Fastrac on Main St is pretty good, cheap pizza. Can anyone confirm?

Top Comment:

Fastrac slices have a higher acidity in the sauce which doesn’t bind well to the crust because they use a King Arthur ‘00’ pizza flour which should be baked in a oven with at least a 675 degree.......

just kidding. C’mon on. It’s gas station pizza.
